The Clinical Community Health Worker (CCHW) program includes includes 160 hours of CHW Core Competency training. The program features an emphasis on hands-on practice, group activities, demonstrations, role-playing, case studies, and simulations. Learners will have lots of opportunities for questions and answers through interactive, thought-provoking dialogue - not just with facilitators and instructors - but also with their peers.

Community Health Worker Instructors (CHWI) are individuals approved to provide instruction and training in one or more core competencies for Community Health Workers. Learners will receive 160 hours of instruction with 20 hours in each of the following competency areas. The Umemba Health CHW Instructor Program places emphasis on virtual-Instructor Led Training (v-ILT) and the program is 100% virtual.
