About Me

Adriana’s journey from Fear to Freedom started when she was 20 years old. While she lived and traveled in Spain as a college student, her emotions and experiences ran the gauntlet from excitement to fear to homesickness and everything in between. Her experience wasn’t what Youtube had told her.

Here’s the real kicker: she had no money to make it home after getting lost and homesick in Madrid. With her back against the wall and lost in Madrid, she let go of all of the fear holding her back and she just let the culture and the “strange”, new environment take her in. She reluctantly stayed six weeks in a foreign land and was effectively grounded. So, what did she do?

She thrived.

Adriana met all sorts of new people. She learned more about how the locals lived and followed suit. She became obsessed with the food and her eyes towards the world were truly open.

Yes, even in today’s day and age, traveling can be incredibly scary, challenging, complicated, and most of all, amazing. She has been there and seen it all. If your students want to get out there too, experience new things, and see new places, and most importantly become more successful on campus and beyond, then Adriana will teach you all of it.

Here's what the audience has to say about Adriana:

I learned that fear limits every dream and that it's important to push far beyond every fear. And, especially for anyone afraid of travelling, it's important that the spirit of fear is to let go if one is to get anywhere otherwise no one gets anywhere without making that first step. If anyone wants [Adriana's] guidance, I would say that with [her] vast experience and knowledge...I can forever feel confident that [she] will deliver to [her] promise and client's expectations. Therefore, I would be hard pressed to consider any other person to meet the need.

Adriana was very open to answering my questions and offer resources. I can appreciate her sharing the do's, don'ts, and resources to make my experience a little easier. I would say that she can ease your anxiety about the unknown, answer your questions about what you may expect, and make herself available at anytime during the process.

I love that [Adriana] left us with something to take away and remember the talk.

It's a quite easy reading and offers such a nice personal approach.
