The Weekend

 

The address is 1702 Salisbury, Maryland 21801

 

Check in is at 4:00 PM Thursday, 8/17/23. Checkout is by 10 AM, Sunday, 8/20/23. Activities will take place at the home and away from the home.

 

The cost for the trip is $400. It includes:

• 3-night stay accommodations
• in-house and activity based meals (alcohol is not included, but you can BYOB)
• T-shirt
• Welcome bag
• Living in Luxe activities

The house amenities include:

• salt water swimming pool
• hot tub
• lab pool
• sauna
• salt room with massage chairs
• fire pit
• ping pong, slot machine, pop-a-shop basketball
• and more

*There will be room and bed sharing.

 

The Itinerary

Our full itinerary is coming soon, but in the meantime here are some important details you will need to know:

 

1. Our color this year is lavender (any shade of purple will do). It's living in luxe in lavender cousin!!!

 

2. We are staying at a property that does not have a pool but a swimming pond. Bring your bathing suit and we'll have tubes to float. There are also kayaks for us to use.

 

3. All meals (except alcohol - BYOB) and activities are included in the weekend; however, we will have vendors on and off-site running a few of our activities and you can leave tips if service is provided, well.

 

4. If you haven't submitted your t-shirt size, please fill out the form at the bottom of this page. It is due by Monday, August 3. If you do not submit a size by the cutoff, you will not receive a t-shirt. 

 

5. If you have dietary restrictions, please reach out to me. Meaning, if you are a vegetarian, or have food allergies, or do not eat beef, etc. I need to know so I can communicate it to vendors and so there will be food and snacks for you to enjoy, as well.

7. We have a group of 21+ this year!!! Yay!!!  I am only able to text 20 people max. Therefore, we will have a Whatsapp group to communicate to eliminate multiple group chats. Whatsapp is a free messaging app. I will send you a text invite to join the Whatsapp group this week.

 

I'm new to it myself, so bare with me. We can text, chat via voice, and share links and all that good stuff. It is the best option for our growing group.

 

8. To our newbies, we form groups and have a group activity. This year, you will learn who your group mates are next month, before the trip! One of our group activities will be a talent show Saturday, August 19.

 

You already know, you have to bring it if you want to win. All details and instructions will be given next month, mid-August. Don't y'all ask me what it is before August 12. 😄 

 

9. Start thinking about your travel arrangements. Car or fly. I know there are discount airlines that fly to OH. We are staying about 30-45 minutes from the Cleveland Airport.

 

10. Lastly, I am looking forward to this being another peaceful, laid-back, laugh out loud, time with a bunch of cool, loving, no judgement-zone, women who I am proud to call family.

Attendance Requirements

I only included names from the list, I know to be family. If a name is unfamiliar to me, I did not include below. This yearly trip is intended for family, only. It is an opportunity for the Williams' (Pierce) women, by marriage, blood, or relationship, to form a closer bond and get to know one another better.

 

It is not a girl's trip - although, I love girls' trips, that is not the purpose of why I started this tradition and dedicate so much time planning it for my cousins. Please understand and do not take this with ill-intent, that is not my intention, at all.

The Weekend

 

This home is in Glen Allen, Virginia, set in a private wooded area. Check in is at 4:30 PM Friday. Checkout is by 10 AM, Sunday. Most of our weekend activities will take place at the home.

 

The cost for the trip is $400. It includes:

• 2-night stay accommodations
• in-house meals (alcohol is not included, but you can byob)
• T-shirt
• Welcome bag
• Pretty and Pampered weekend surprises! (I can't wait until you see what we're doing. 🤗🤗🤗)

The house amenities include:

• outdoor bar by the pool
• a 2 story pool/ guest house (I'm thinking for the youngins who want to be Tik Toking all night 🤔 🤳🏾)
• 40 foot waterfall/ river
• hot tub
• sauna
• screened gazebo
• tennis courts
• private guest apartment
• gym
• and a game room with a pool and a black jack table.

*There will be room and possible bed sharing.

Guest Policy

 

This is a cousins girls trip. A family trip. I understand wanting to invite friends and guests, because we had so much fun 😄😄 but this is not a girls' trip but instead a trip for my cousins.

 

The intention and goal of this annual extravaganza (y'all know that's what it is 😍), is to promote stronger relationships and bonds among us as family and women related by marriage or blood, regardless of age (but you gotta be over 18 for this trip).

 

With the exception of two individuals from last year, this stands. If you have questions or concerns, please give me a call.

 

I love y'all and I hope you understand. I will definitely be a guest if anyone decides to host a Girl's Trip Weekend, I'm totally down for that, too!
