Playign Double Stops

If playing double stops in your music worry you, then this free live online class is a must! We will be discussing how to appraoch double stops, how to practise them and how to succeed performing double stops.

In this free live online class, we will be discussing double stops in intermediate to advanced repertoire. This class will show you exercises you can do at home, and there will be examples of how your choice of fingering may enhance your double stop playing.

Who will be teaching this class?

This class will be taught by Henriette de Vrijer, violin teacher in the UK and the founder of Pro-Am Strings.

Who is this class for?

This class will be suitable for intermediate to advanced violin and viola players.

What will I get out of this class?

By the end of this class, you should have a good understanding of how you can practise double stops and how you can successfully perform double stops in concerts.

When do I attend?

The classes on both dates are live classes and in essence the same, although they may vary, depending on students' questions and contributions. We offer two classes, so that players in different timezones can attend. Please indicate on the form above whether you intend to attend on Tuesday or Wednesday, and we will send you the corect link with which you can join.
