Yoga with Gary - June Updates
Yep, even I’m wearing shoes now…
Hi Everyone
Well, winter’s definitely making an itself known here in Sydney now.
The mornings are crisp, the days are getting shorter, and yes, I’ve officially started wearing shoes! Nooooooooo 😫
The Yoga classes at Kangaroo Street have had a really great vibe lately.
The Thursday 7:00 am Set Sequence Flow has been magic to teach as the sun rises bringing a positive energy to start the day.
There’s something about that early morning light and a shared yoga practice that just feels amazing.
And then there’s the Sunday 4:00 pm Yin Yoga class with the sun setting as we settle into those long holds, the whole room just softens and the vibe again is just Yin energy quiet, darkish, grounding, and just what’s needed to ease out of the week.
The recent Yin Yoga immersion – Cultivating Mindfulness was a real joy to teach. Slowing things down and diving deeper into the practices felt like a beautiful reset.
I’m already looking forward to running another one again in November, so stay tuned if you’re keen to go deep into your Yin practice.
I’ve kept this a bit on the quiet side
But this year I have actually been writing a book called , 📖
What Are We Gonna Do Now? – The No Rules Guide to Letting Go and Living Fully
And it’s nearly complete.
It’s been a big project and i won’t go into too much details other than to say that this is something I’ve always wanted to write so I can’t wait to get it out into the world.
So watch this space.😀
Thanks as always for being part of this little yoga community whether you come every week or just drop in now and then, it’s always good to share the space with you.
See you on the mat soon
Stay warm and see you on the mat,
Gaz
