HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL! |

With the new year comes new projects, goals and adventures, and yes, it's 2024 already! We are going to start all those projects that we had in mind but didn't take the step, we are going to continue learning music, that song that was resisting, that chord that didn't quite come out... this year is the year in which we are going to achieve it! This month we have a few new things going on at Music Room so stay tuned for updates on classes, activities and workshops!

New groups starting January 2024
Singing, listening, trying different instruments, moving, crafting or painting?
All of this is part of introduction to music. With a combination of Gordon's and Orff's teaching methods, and based on Sergio Aschero's Numerofonia system, the children in our class will learn basic musical concepts and fundamentals in a natural and fun way. They will have a great foundation to dive into music and learn an instrument if desired.
Every Tuesday & Thursday from 4:15pm to 5pm.

This art therapy workshop by Anne-Claire Hoyauxuses art to gently address emotions, through drawing, writing, crafts, music, and some movement. No art skills are required and the children choose their preferred art forms. They are invited to create freely and intuitively, using their spontaneous inspiration more than any special techniques. The idea is to exteriorize feelings differently than with spoken words. We use arts as an alternative way to connect with inner emotions.
Saturday 20 January 10:30am / 12:30am 5-8 Years old.

My little one & Me is back with Sahida on January 11th.
Music is a world for its own. The class is a key for your child to enter this world and experience himself in new ways. With You on your child's side, your little one will have a comfortable environment to improve his language ability, motor, movement and sense skills trough rhythm games and instrument-playing. Come and sing along together with your baby. A musical joy for both body and soul in an environment full of music and happiness.

Jazz vocal group is back! January 10, 17 & 31 & February 14 In our class we explore our voices and improve our musicality through different exercises that include vocal technique, ear training, rhythm and harmony by choosing our repertoire from the amazing American Songbook. The Class is open for everyone who is curious about Jazz, who already knows a little but would love to learn more. Therefor it is not essential to have an amazing vocal range or technique to sing Jazz which makes it great if you've never sang before.
